What does zero represent in your story problem

What is the story problem put the story promblem

It would most likely represent nothing if its a solo number. But, if it were 10,20,30,40,50 and so on, it would represent the number your using like for example, 50. just because it has a zero in it doesnt mean it that its useless. But since it has a five in it, it would represent the number 50.
