First convert the fractions so they have a common denominator (36)
3/12=9/36 4/9=16/36
Then add the whole numbers (as fractions)
9/36+180/36=189/36
16/36+36/36=52/36
189/36-52/36=137/36
Now Simplify
137/36=3 29/36
3 29/36

63/12-13/9---> Change into fraction.
3 (63) - 4 (13) / 36 - - - > Find the LCM and multiply.
189-52/36--->Subtract.
137/36---> (decimal:3.8).
