The perimeter of a rectangular garden is 368 feet. If the width of the garden is 86 feet, what is its length?

    Since the perimeter is 368 the equation for the perimeter is = 2L + 2W

    Since we have one length of the side,

    368 - (86*2) = 2L

    196 = 2L

    So the length is 98 because, 2 x 98 = 196
