Mr. DeMouy is thinking of an irrational number between 4 and 9. Mrs. Nelson says that the number must be. Mr. DeMouy says this isn't true and there are many irrational numbers between 4 and 9 other than. Is Mr. DeMouy right? If so, give 2 examples that Mr. DeMouy could give and say how you known each number is irrational. If Mr. DeMouy is not right, explain how you know this.

    There are many irrational numbers between 4 an 9, so Mr. DeMouy is right. Two possible examples can be, 4.01001000100001 ... another example would be 8.010100100010000100000 ... These numbers are irrational because they're non-terminating so it goes on forever.
