    Given the expression

    |x - 2| - 4|-6|

    If x <; 2 then x - 2 < 2 and if x - 2 < 2 the |x - 2| = - (x - 2).

    Substitute |x - 2| by - (x - 2) and |-6| by 6.

    |x - 2| - 4|-6| = - (x - 2) - 4 (6) = - x - 22
