    4 1/2 - 3 5/6=

    4 3/6 - 3 5/6=

    3 9/6

    3 5/6 it's 4/6

    2/3 because you turn one of the whole number in 4 to a fraction since you can't take 5/6 out of one half. Then you would get 3 9/6. Subtract that by 3 5/6 to get 4/6 or 2/3
