    the main formula which should be used to reply this is:

    g (x) - h (x) = (g-h) (x)

    if the question does mean g (x) = 3 (2 ^ x)

    k (x) = (g - h) (x) = 3 (2 ^x) - 2 ^ (x+1)

    and we know that because of a^x+p = a^*a^p

    =3 (2 ^x) - 2 ^ (x) 2^1 = (2 ^x) (3 - 2^1)

    = (2 ^x) (3 - 2^1) = 2 ^x

    the answer is k (x) = 2^x
