    12 oranges

    6 mangoes

    6 pineapples

You start off this problem by dividing 24 by 2 to get the number of oranges. Then divide 24 by 4 to get mangoes. You get 6. The only one left is pineapple. If you reduce the fraction 2/8 then you get 1/4. So again divide 24 by 4. You get 6 again.

    12+6+6=24
