To find the x intercept, sub in 0 for y and solve for x
y + 12 = 3 (x - 9)
0 + 12 = 3x - 27
12 = 3x - 27
12 + 27 = 3x
39 = 3x
39/3 = x
13 = x ... so ur x int is 13 or (13,0) <==
and if u wanted to find the y int, u could sub in 0 for x and solve for y
