A fruit stand has 18 red apples. This is 40 percent of the total apples in the stand. How many apples are there in the stand

    40% = 18. So, 20% = 9.

    100% = 5*20% (5*9)

    Ans : 45

    The answer is 45, You'd do 18 divided by. 40 and to check the answer, 45 times. 40 should equal 18!
