What is the slope of a line parallel to the line with equation 5x-2y=11

    -2y=-5x+11

    y = 2 1/2x + 5 1/2

    A slope of a line parallel would be 2.5 (x) because any parallel line has the same slope, it is just the y-intercept that is different.
