An easier way would just be to set it up in an expression. She used 1/2 of 3/4 lb. When you see "of", replace it with (*).

    1/2 of 3/4 =

    1/2 * 3/4 =

    3/8

The answer is 3/8. You have to change 3/4 to 6/8 and divide it by 2. 6:2=3 so the answer is 3/8
