A water tank is in the shape of a right circular cylinder with a height of 20 feet volume of 320pi cubic feet. what is the diameter, in feet, of the water tank

    V=hpir^2

    given

    v=320pi

    h=20

    and

    2r=d

    320pi=20pir^2

    divide both sides by 20pi

    16=r^2

    sqrt both sides

    4=r

    2r=d

    2 (4) = d=8

    dameter=8ft
