    F (g (h (3)))

    find h (3)

    h (3) = 3-1=2

    now

    f (g (h (3)) = f (g (2))

    find g (2)

    g (2) = 3 (2) - 5=6-5=1

    now

    f (g (h (3))) = f (g (2)) = f (1)

    find f (1)

    f (1) = - 2 (1) ^3

    f (1) = - 2 (1)

    f (1) = - 2

    answer is D
