Exponential to log : y=bx

    I believe the equation is as follows:

    y=bˣ, if so:

    We know that exponential functions are one-to-one. Being one-to-one functions mean they have an inverse, then the inverse of:

    y=bˣ is its logarithmic function that is log (b). x=y, where b is the base of the logarithm. Example

    Suppose y=25, the base b=5 & x the number

    The exponential form is 5ˣ = 25

    & its logarithmic form: x = log₅ (25)

    The exponential form is equivalent to the logarithmic form:

    5ˣ = 25 = = >x = log₅ (25)
