Find the value of x in the equation 2 (x-4) = 4 (2x+1)

    The answer is - 2

    2 (-2-4) = 4 (2 (-2) + 1)

    2 (-6) = 4 (-4 + 1)

    2 (-6) = 4 (-3)

    -12 = - 12
