Calvin paid $1.79 per pound of beans both times that he went shopping for supplies for a chili cook-off. He bought 4.05 pounds of beans the first time and 2.78 pounds the second time. Which expression shows the total cost in dollars of the beans he bought?

    4.05+2.78=6.83 (pounds) 6.83•1.79=12.2257

    since you cant have $12.2257 round to nearest hundredth

    $12.23 is what he paid
