    Total value of the purchase = 0.15A + 0.10B

unit cost of apple = 0.15

unit cost to banana = 0.10

Total value of apple = 0.15 * A (number of apples)

Total value of banana = 0.10 * B (number of bananas)

    Total value of the purchase = 0.15A + 0.10B

For example: Apple = 5 pcs; Banana = 10 pcs

    Total value of the purchase = 0.15 (5) + 0.10 (10)

    Total value of the purchase = 0.75 + 1.00

Total value of the purchase = 1.75

Total value of apples = 0.75

Total value of bananas = 1.00
