The ratio of students who prefer coke to Pepsi is 5 out of 7. If 84 students were surveyed, how many students prefer Pepsi?

    Ratio is now 12:84 which is a total ratio of 7

    5*7=35 and 7*7=49, comes to a total of 84 students

    Which means 35 students prefer coke

    and 49 students prefer Pepsi
