What is 1 1/3 subtracted from its reciprocal?

1 1/3 = 4/3
reciprocal of 4/3 is 3/4
so
1 1/3 subtracted from its reciprocal:
3/4 - 4/3
= 9/12 - 16/12
= - 7/12
