1 yr = 12 months ... so 4 yrs = (12 x 4) = 48 months + 8 months = 56 months

4/5 = 56/x

cross multiply

4x = 280

x = 280/4

x = 70 months = 5 yrs and 10 months

Convert 4 years 8 months into months=56 months

4+5=9

4/5 * X=56

x=280/4=70

therefore to find archana's age

5/9*70=39 months=3 years and 3 months
