Prove:

when xz = yz then x=y if z is not equal to zero

    Xz = yz

    xz - yz = 0

    x * z - y * z = 0

    (x - y) * z = 0

    So, either (x - y) = 0 or z = 0

    It is given z ≠ 0, thus (x - y) = 0

    x - y = 0

    x = y
