When you factor this equation, you need to find the common number or variable in the two terms.
8 and 18 can be divide by 2.
8 : 2 = 4
18 : 2 = 9
2 (4m³ - 9m)
You will notice that both terms have the variable m. We can remove that.
2m (4m²-9) This is the factor of 8m³-18m
