Well you ha've to add them all together. the common denominator of 3 4 and 2 would be 12. 12 is the first multiple they all share. So lets change them.

    1 1/2 = 3/2 * 6/6 = 18/12

    3/4 * 3/3 = 9/12

    2/3 * 4/4 = 8/12

add all the cups to get the total cups of salad

    18/12 + 9/12 + 8/12 = 34/12 = 2 10/12 = 2 5/6
