4-14=8m+2m how would I solve this?

    4 - 14 = 8m + 2m

    -10 = 10m

    m = - 1

    Well first you simplify each side. First of all the left is simply - 10 and the right is 10m. therefore - 10=10m. If you divide each side you learn that m = - 1.
