This is easy. First you do the parentheses (9/3) so that would be 3. now your equation is 25-3x4.

Next you multiply. so three times four.

    now your equation is 25-12

    25-12 is 13

The order of operations rule states that multiplying and dividing take place first, then addition or subtraction. Because of that, we start by doing the division and the multiplication, then we can finish with the subtraction

    25 - (9:3) x4

    25-3x4

    25-12

    13

Hopefully this made a bit of sense!
