    Multiply the first equation by two to get:

    6x + 26y = - 222

    Subtract the equations from one another:

    6x + 26y = - 222

    Subtract 6x + 15y = - 123

    This gives you:

    11y = - 99

    So y = - 9

    Sub y = - 9 into

    3x + 13 (-9) = - 111

    3x - 117 = - 111

    3x = 6

    X = 2
