If the student accepts job A, he will be paid a total of

    total pay = ($347.50 / week) (16 weeks) = $5560

    Then for the second job,

    1st month = $1,600

    second month = $1600 + 0.1 ($1600) = $1760

    third month = $1760 + 0.1 ($1760) = $1936

The total amount that she will be paid for the second job is $5,296

The difference between two pays is $264.
