David and Fiona have a house painting business. Fiona can paint a house in 3 days, David can paint the same house in 4. How quickly could they paint it together?

    3.5 days!

    Just because they work together, it doesn't mean they'll work twice as fast!

    Find the average of the two by adding 3 and 4 to get 7 and then divide by 2 to get 3 and a half hour.
