There are 5 students in the paintings school. each student painted 7 painting. some painting were sold in an exhibition. 15 were sold to a museum, 18 were sold to a rich man and the remaining painting were kept at the school. how many painting were kept at the school?

    5 students x 7 paintings = 35 paintings. 18 + 15 = 33. 35 - 33 = 2. 2 paintings were kept at the school

    If there are 5 students that painted 7 paintings each, than there would be 35 paintings total. If 15 were sold to a museum and 18 to a rich man, than in total 15 + 18 = 33 would be sold. 35 - 33 = 2, 2 paintings were kept at the school.
