Jim is designing a seesaw for a children's park. The seesaw should make an angle of 30° with the ground and the maximum height to which it should rise is 1 meter, as shown below. What is the maximum length of the seesaw? A) 0.5 meters B) 1 meter C) 1.4 meters D) 2 meters.

    X - the maximum length;

    sin 30° = Opposite/Hypotenuse

    sin 30° = 1 m / x

    1/2 = 1 m / x

    x = 1 m : 1/2 = 2 m

    Answer: D) 2 meters
