Hello,
If you factor and set each factor equal to zero, you get,
y = 0,15
Thus, the solution is y = 0,15
Now, the factor out common term form of 5y-y^ (2) = 0
Steps:
Factor 15y - y^2 : - y (y-15) = 0
Factor 0:0 (0 can not factor further)
Thus, - y (y - 15) = 0
