I suppose you are asking what "w" is:
your equation is
5w+8-12w=16-15w
combine like terms to get
-7w+8=16-15w
add 15w on both sides (since you're doing it to both sides the equation is still equal)
8w+8=16
subtract 8 from both sides
8w=8
divide both sides by 8 and you get:
w=1
if you want to check your answer, plug in the value of "w" into the original equation.
