Someone is riding a bike at 10 mph, and then they begin to go down a hill. 5 seconds later they are traveling 20 mph. What is their acceleration?

    Acceleration = Change in speed / Time In this case: Acceleration = (20 - 10) / 5 Acceleration = 10/5 Acceleration = 2 mphps
