To find out which one is the better buy we have to find out what the unit price of each one is. To find a unit price you divide the ounce by the cost.

    5/90=18 cents

    12/240=5 cents

the 12 ounce can is less per ounce so the 12 ounce can is the better buy.

12 ounce package because it is a lot more ounces than 5 ounces and much more cheaper than the usual cost of 12 ounces package
