What you need to do right here is to do a Fraction of total power used at night: f = 265 / 265+275 If f >0.5 then use Daytime Plan.

Use NightTimer plan otherwise which is f > 0.5

Remember that Both Daytime and Nightimer plans say if most of the power used is between 7am-7pm then used the rates. Hope this is bery useful
