Lisa needs enough trim to sew around the edge of her quilt. If you quilt measures 96 inches by 72 inches, how many inches of trim will Lisa need? (Perimeter)

    96*2=192

    72*2=144

    144+192=336 inches of trim

    It is a rectangular quilt so you need to find the perimeter which is 96+96 (for the two lengths) + 72+72 (for the two widths) = 336 which is the edge around the quilt.
