Describe how to find the area of a parallelogram. Explain why.

    A=bh {A} stands for the area, {b} stands for the length of your parallelogram, and {h} stands for the height of your parallelogram.

    It is the exact same as a rectangle (bxh) because if you imagine moving the right triangle on one side to the other side (putting the two hypotenuses of the triangles together), you create a rectangle which the formula for area is A=bxh
