Twenty students ride on your bus. Two fifths of them pack their lunches. How many of the students pack their lunches?

    If there are 20 students and 2/5 of them packed lunches you would do

    2/5 x 25/25 which would equal 0.4

    You would change 0.4 into a percent which would be 40%

    40% of 20 = 8

    Your answer would be 8 students
