    0.4 (2-q) = 0.2 (q-7)

    2 (2-q) = 1 (q-7) (multiplied both sides by 5)

    4-2q=q-7 (distributed)

4=3q-7 (added 2q to both sides)

11=3q (added 7 to both sides)

q=11/3 or 3.667 (divided both sides by 3)
