    The slope represents the cost for each hour it takes to repair because following the y=mx+b template for an equation m = slope and in this problem 45 is in that place and it is being multiplied to x which has been stated as the hours taken to repair. this shows that 45 is sort of a rate price for each hours. the answer is A.
