Y=1/2x-3 ... (1)
and
9x-2y=-74 ... (2)
subsct in (2):
9x-2 (1/2x-3) = - 74
9x-x+6 = - 74
8x = - 80
x = - 10
in (1) : y = 1/2 (-10) - 3
y = - 8
