The symbol to show that there are parallel lines is normally just a set of vertical lines. Although if these are being drawn on a page and need to be labelled as part of a shape or diagram, sometimes arrows will be used to show they are parallel - either one arrow in the middle of the line, or two arrows to show they are parallel but in different directions.
