Step 1 2 + 5x + 10 + 11x - 10 = 2 + 5x + 10 + (11x - 10)

Step 2 = 2 + 5x + 10 + (-10 + 11x)

Step 3 = 2 + 5x + [10 + (-10) ] + 11x

Step 4 = 2 + 5x + 0 + 11x

Step 5 = 2 + 5x + 11x

Step 6 = 2 + (5 + 11) x

Step 7 = 2 + 16x

Step 8 = 16x + 2
