Sandra knitted large blankets to sell at a craft show and packed each of them in a 2-foot cubed box (all sides 2 feet long). The trunk of Sandra's car is 4 feet wide, 4 feet long, and 2 feet deep. How many packaged blankets can she fit in her trunk to take to the show? A) 4 blankets B) 6 blankets C) 8 blankets D) 12 blankets

    Here the length, width and the height of the cubed boxes is 2 ft.

    The length of the trunk of Sandra's car is 4 ft.

    So we can arrange 4/2 = 2 boxes length wise.

    Also the width of the trunk of Sandra's car is 4 ft.

    So width wise we can arrange 4/2 = 2 boxes.

    The height of the trunk of Sandra's car is 2 ft.

    So height wise we can arrange = 2/2 = 1 box

    Hence the total boxes we can take is 2 * 2 * 1 = 4

    Hence she can fit 4 packaged blankets in the trunk of the car.

    Option A) is the right answer.
