Mary has three lengths of cable, 3/6 yard long, 1/4 yard long, and 1/3 yard long, which two pieces together make a length of 20/24 yard?

    Dear Gandino, the cable that is 3/6 yards long and the cable that is 1/3 yards long if put together will make a length of 20/24. 3/6+1/3=12/24+8/24=20/24.
