Equation for the line that passes through (-4,-2) and that is parallel to the line with the equation y=-4

    Hello:

    an equation is : y = ax+b (a is a slope)

    parallel to the line y=-4 a = 0 (same slope)

    the equation is : y = 0x+b

    hrough (-4,-2) : b=-2

    an equation is : y = - 2
