Hello,
To find out if the ordered pair is a solution to the inequality substitute x and y of the ordered pair into the problem.
y≥-6x-3
Solution:
-2≥-6 (1) - 3
-2 ≥-6-3
-2≥-9
-2 is greater than - 9. Thus, (1,-2) is a solution of y≥-6x-3.
