How to determine whether each sequence could be geometric or arithmetic

Hello : for all n in N:

1) arithmetic : An+1 - An = d (common diference)

2) geometric : An+1 / An = q (common ratio)

To find the next few terms in an arithmetic sequence, you first need to find the common difference, the constant amount of change between numbers in anarithmetic sequence. Once you know the common difference, you can use it to find those next terms!
