First you have to get the variable to one side.
To do this you have to subtract 2/3x from both sides.
4/3x-2/3x=2/3x
Now you have:
1/6=2/3x
Divide by 2/3
1/6:2/3=1/6*3/2=3/12=1/4
Your answer is:
X=1/4
